The Sound of Jura was perfect as we headed south to the Fairy Isles.

We anchored at the Fairy Isles in solitude. Awesome place and one to remember.

The Fairy Isles.....

The Isle of Gigha. Berthed alongside the community pontoon. A lovely wee island and the first time the folding bikes were taken out this season.

A short hop to Port Ellen on Islay.

The bikes came out once more for the trip to Laphroig Distillery.

From Port Ellen, we cruised around the coast to the west side of Jura and Loch Tarbet. A lovely remote location and ideal for walkers.

Archie the mad Collie enjoyed himself too.

From Loch Tarbet, we headed east to Craighouse with the Paps of Jura in our sights but the northerly wind wasn't good whilst at anchor so we crossed over the Sound of Jura and anchored at Tayvallich instead.

'Shall go for a swim or not?.....'

Out walking and the view back to Tayvallich on the left.

Aspyrian anchored just at the south side of the entrance to the bay.

Heading back to Craobh Haven and taking an ice cream break from scrubbing the decks.

Heading north up the Sound of Jura.
